school holiday fun
The school holidays have been full of cleaning and outings. We have manged to organise the playroom a little more and the carpets in the house have had a shampoo. We visited the duck pond and fed them our old stale bread. Oli loves this activity but for Keiran it is a little scary!! He doesn't seem to like ducks.
here are some the pics I took of them playing together. Oli has decided that having his photo taken is not so bad and I managed to get him to pose a little. As for Keiran it is far too boring to stand still for longer than a second.
I don't think I have done any scrapping since my last post. I don't seem to find any time during the day and by 8 o'clock I am so exhausted all I wan to do is slob in front of the box. I have finished my DT Kit for April though but I cannot share this page just yet. Tonight will see me scrapping madly though as I have a few pages that need to be completed by the end of the month.
I have been busy setting up my Stampin' Up business and planning some classes and getting a monthly crop under way. I have now set up a Stampin' blog which looks a little empty at this stage but I hope for it to be full of inspiration and techniques.
Oh I just remembered that I did do this page for Scrappin' Patch. It was made using some of my papers I bought in the 50% off sale and some quite old bits. I made as an inspiration page for the budget to blitz challenge. There is still some time to get a layout finished and loaded into the gallery to be into win a RAK from me. Head over to Scrappin' Patch to see the challenges that are on. Maybe I haven't shown you these pages too!! I made the first page for one of the SWV cyber crop challenges and the last 2 pages were DT challenge entries for the cyber crops. Come and join in at SWV cyber crop on 2nd/3rd May. This month's theme is the colours of the rainbow.
Right I must go and get on with some jobs. xxx

birthday boy, retreat and all things sweet!
Wow it has been a busy few weeks, as always, I guess. I won the final for the stars comp over at scrappin' Patch and accepted the offer to become a guest designer for them. here is a pic of me with my winnings. Not so pretty and a reminder of what all that choccy I eat, does to me.
Keiran turned 2 on Friday and boy the teribble 2's continue. He started the tantrums way before his birthday. Saying this he is a complete delight and he makes me so very happy. He is a fun loving kid who just cannot get enough "gools" (cuddles). Sorry no pic yet I have still got to upload to the comp!! But here is the cake I made him to take to preschool. I learnt how to ice with a piping bag and am quite proud of my effort!
I have been quite busy scrapping but not as busy as I should be. I will share some pics of L.O's in this post. I have completed another DT kit for SWV and these can be bought from here The gorgeous photos are courtesy of my good friend Vicki and her daughter Emma.
I had so much fun at the Sketch Book Retreat and it was so lovely to meet my fellow design team members and on line friends. I didn't get much scrapping done but had lots of fun playing with product. My dress up was a little lame and not very creative but what with being so busy with teaching I didn't leave myself much time to organise. It was lovely wearing my veil again though. I was also reminded how allergic to wool I am and the gorgeous little jacket gave me a big itchy rash- once again. oops My roomy's were the best and I was so proud of Kim and her gorgeous hundreds of L.O's she completed. My dear friend Tracy was unfortunately not feeling so good but as always completed some great stuff. Amanda was also very productive and scrapped some stunning photos on stunning pages too.
Oli has had a quiet non eventful few weeks. His teacher gave us a glowing report of his progress at school. I must admit I was quite nervous at being the Mummy not teacher at parent interviews;quite strange being on the other side!
Anyway enough ramblings. I am glad some of you are popping back to see our ins and outs. Must go tidy up and hop in bed. I have lots on tomorrow and really wanted to make an Easter card for Oli's teachers.Oh this is my latest page for whitewith1. The challenge being coral and journaling on the photo. Wasn't sure I would like the colour but ended up OK I think!
