birthday boy, retreat and all things sweet!

Wow it has been a busy few weeks, as always, I guess. I won the final for the stars comp over at scrappin' Patch and accepted the offer to become a guest designer for them. here is a pic of me with my winnings. Not so pretty and a reminder of what all that choccy I eat, does to me.

Keiran turned 2 on Friday and boy the teribble 2's continue. He started the tantrums way before his birthday. Saying this he is a complete delight and he makes me so very happy. He is a fun loving kid who just cannot get enough "gools" (cuddles). Sorry no pic yet I have still got to upload to the comp!! But here is the cake I made him to take to preschool. I learnt how to ice with a piping bag and am quite proud of my effort!

I have been quite busy scrapping but not as busy as I should be. I will share some pics of L.O's in this post. I have completed another DT kit for SWV and these can be bought from here The gorgeous photos are courtesy of my good friend Vicki and her daughter Emma.

I had so much fun at the Sketch Book Retreat and it was so lovely to meet my fellow design team members and on line friends. I didn't get much scrapping done but had lots of fun playing with product. My dress up was a little lame and not very creative but what with being so busy with teaching I didn't leave myself much time to organise. It was lovely wearing my veil again though. I was also reminded how allergic to wool I am and the gorgeous little jacket gave me a big itchy rash- once again. oops My roomy's were the best and I was so proud of Kim and her gorgeous hundreds of L.O's she completed. My dear friend Tracy was unfortunately not feeling so good but as always completed some great stuff. Amanda was also very productive and scrapped some stunning photos on stunning pages too.

Oli has had a quiet non eventful few weeks. His teacher gave us a glowing report of his progress at school. I must admit I was quite nervous at being the Mummy not teacher at parent interviews;quite strange being on the other side!

Anyway enough ramblings. I am glad some of you are popping back to see our ins and outs. Must go tidy up and hop in bed. I have lots on tomorrow and really wanted to make an Easter card for Oli's teachers.Oh this is my latest page for whitewith1. The challenge being coral and journaling on the photo. Wasn't sure I would like the colour but ended up OK I think!
